This upcoming Saturday, I travel to Arizona to spend time in the desert. The National Socialist Movement has a small band of members that operate a border patrol in the deserts of Arizona, walking around with decked out gear, in disciplined organization, weapons, and a sleeping bag. The operations of variously similiar movement across the US has popped up on the radar consistently throughout the year, including most recently the Wisconsin shooting, which a Hammerskin Nation follower killed six people inside of Sikh temple.
A few months ago, the NSM’s border guard founder, manager, and former Marine, J.T. Ready murdered his girlfriend and her family and continued to turn the gun on himself.
At several points in his life, J.T. ran for vaious political offices, vying for the Mesa City Council, serving as a Republican precinct committeeman, and had announced his intent to run for County sheriff as a Democrat.
J.T. had referred to fomer Arizona state Senate President, Russell Pearce, the author of ccontroversial SB 1070, as his “mentor”
